Hobo nickels- a sculptural folk art form involving the creative modification of small denomination coins resulting in mini bas reliefs. Due to it’s low cost and portability, the medium was particularly popular among hobos, hence the name.

I have re cast this modified nickel in white bronze and added a bronze bezel for a two tone look. Makes a great gift for any special guy or gal in your life . On a 24” oxidized chain.
